Ok go at it. Does he have a girlfriend? In Canada, in Pittsburgh, in tunnels, with an invisibility cloak? Discuss...but please keep it civil. Remember none of us know for sure since we don't know him.

Hi Everyone,
I am aware of the photos of a potential GF that were taken at the last two games in Sochi and I have been asked by a few people if you are allowed to discuss it here as the conversation on other boards seems to have disintegrated and taken a pretty ugly turn.
Here’s my issue. Although it looks very much like a former girlfriend I am hesitant to have that kind of conversation here until its confirmed because if its not I don’t want to have contributed to dragging an innocent bystanders name into the spotlight (and gutter in many cases) more than it already has been.
Once its confirmed and public I think it’s fine but that board will be heavily moderated and all I ask is the following:
1. that posters be respectful of others opinions and there be no personal attacks or name calling to one another. If you can’t express your opinions without being insulting then you’re clearly lost and I can direct you to a more appropriate site.
2. No pics posted that are from private Facebook or twitter accounts or any links to those accounts of players girlfriends or of her family or friends. Pics of them out in public are fine but leaked private ones are not. I understand curiosity and im curious as well but they deserve the same privacy that we do and posting private info like that in my opinion crosses a line.
As long as those guidelines are followed then go ahead and start discussing and posting pics in the relationship status threads.

Why you think that Cherie? Because every summer he´s there? People have said it before that he only goes there because Andy O´brien trains a bunch on people there. But yeah, he must have someone there for the summer! LOL

I really doubt Sid would go for someone like Haylie Duff.
You are probably right, there are probably girls he's interested in somewhere that he hangs out with.

I think some one is in LA because it is the place he goes to to be anonymous. I know there are hockey fans out there but not like Pittsburgh and Nova Scotia. I bet they can go out in Santa Monica a lot of the time and not even be noticed. I am just saying. I have no knowledge that you all don't have.

A bit off topic here, but is there an official name for the Pens wives and gfs? Is it called the WAGS within the organization? They do charity work, so I assume they have to have some sort of title?

sdd, I think is just WAGs cause the term started with the soccer players wives and girlfriends in england. I guess that´s how they´re called!

I would date her if I was Sid If he was still dating her don't you think we'd have seen pic of her in games the past couple of years? Or even together? Or someone spying Kathy in Pittsburgh? The man can't even go for lunch or dinner or to a bar or walk down the street or to a grocery without anyone tweeting something about seeing him. So if he's dating this girl, which was reported a few years back, fangirls would be on the lookout for her presence in the Pitts, even at the airport. So no, I don't believe he's dating anyone. Otherwise, someone somewhere would have said something. Can't have a relationship when you only see each other two months a year. Besides he only started training in LA last year and them dating was reported around 2010. |

I agree Sakky. After I saw a picture of Lemieux peeing on Instagram, I say it´s almost impossible for someone like Sid to hide a relationship from everyone.

It was just an idea! You are the experts.  I don't know much about him. Whoa! Haha! Not that peeing is funny but what? Where? At a restaurant, the guy was with him in the bathroom took a picture of him peeing, it shows his back, at first I didn´t believe but then I click on his Instagram and there was a picture with Lemieux and him. |

Yeah Cherie, and the guy had the nerve to ask for a picture afterwards, was smiling and everything. I´ve seen tweets of people saying they were in the bathroom with Sid but they never crossed the line of actually posting a picture.

I agree with you all. From people I know in Pittsburgh who actually knows Sid have told me that they were friends. Went out on a couple of dates but that was it. Jess and another girl he dated but they both ended real quick. This guy is really focusing on hockey. I heard that he would get your phone number and talk to you but won't call back in about a month or so. As of right now, from my friends, he is still single.
