It depends on if you were complimenting his backside while putting, I believe the correct usage is putt butt, the verb becomes a gerund to describe the noun. If your intent was to point out how the gluteus maximus can influence precision golf strokes it would be butt putt.
Grammar aside, nice butt, very nice butt, nice thighs in that pic too!
