Despite saying during and after the Stanley Cup playoffs that he was at full health, the Penguins center "did play with a terrible wrist," the source said Tuesday night. Crosby could not be reached for comment. An individual close to Crosby, who requested anonymity, said the surgical procedure "is not major, but you can't play the same way" with the kind of injury Crosby had. The NHL MVP is not expected to miss any time next season, the source said. Crosby decided to have the operation only after therapy failed to correct the problem. It is not known precisely when or how he was injured. Crosby won the NHL's regular-season scoring championship with 104 points but managed just one goal and eight assists in 13 playoff games, good for a share of third place in the team scoring race. Crosby consistently denied during the playoffs -- and after -- that he was playing injured. I seriously wonder about this man. Lol! Surprised he doesn't have a decorator to do all of this stuff for him. Shows his humility that's for sure. Also, has he never had hangers before? Haha. Most men I know go to walmart and get the plastic ones. Have to wonder what's going on in the Crosby house. Happy for him no matter what. He is looking good and tan too.

How the heck does the one lady happen to have a Crosby shirt at Home Goods? Word really travels I guess. He looks very hot. I too wonder about him not having an assistant or decorator. He really is one of a kind.

If I lived near Sid's world I'd carry a jersey around, you never know when you're gonna bump into him!
Just an observation about these recent fan pics, do they seem a little strange to you fine people or is it just me? The pic with him purchasing a baby was well odd, but then someone takes a picture of him signing a jersey for another fan (unless it was that fan's friend taking the picture for her) but why not wait until he's done and take a pic posing with him? Then a cashier takes his photo across the check out counter - HUH? Wha? Heh? That one is proper weird, "Hey Sid, can I take a picture of you and all your purchases?" I don't get it.
