Okay, so it's all over pinterest that you can do a photo transfer onto wood with modge podge and there's also online urban myths that you can transfer onto fabric like this as well. Has anyone actually done it, or known someone who has?
I want to put some pictures onto pillowcases for some floor cushions but I can't find transfer paper that is big enough. My work has an A2 size printer which is approx 60cm x 85cm (or 24 x 33 1/2 inches in old money) so I can get the image onto paper, but even the photo shops I've called don't print fabric transfers this big. I'm also worried about having to iron on a transfer that size because I'm sure it would shift, if the modge podge works I can lay it out on my kitchen floor and leave it there to dry.
I'm worried about ruining the fabric if I fail so if this is just a pinstrosity waiting to happen can people please warn me in advance!

I've done it on wood and plastic surfaces with lodge lodge but not on to fabric. Good luck. The wood chair it did turned out the best.

okay, this is a good start, maybe I'll buy some modge podge and test on an old bedsheet or something! Thanks NuB!
