Yeah it's pretty bad, I wasn't expecting it to be that bad when I went to the link. I thought Sid was just coming unglued when he was calling Chara a fucking cunt, but now I can see why.

Just brutal. I went grocery shopping and it was bugging me the whole time I was out. I'm glad Sid stuck up for himself, but I kinda wish he was a bit bigger so he could have just given it to him. Such a cheap shot. There's no way Sid didnt feel that punch. Those arms slap a puck over 100MPH, I'm sure Sid was really sore afterwards.

Yeah NuB, I think this summer is going to be more laid back for him. You missed Staal´s wedding! The wedding near Ottawa was a family member? We never got anything out from that, not even tweets! He also spends at least a week in PEI, usually the first week of July.

Wasn't sure where to post this or if anyone is interested but below is the trailer for the upcoming movie Lone Survivor based on one of Sid's favorite books. As a bonus - one of the stars is Canadian hottie and former hockey player (not pro) Taylor Kitsch. Looks really good and i can't wit to see it!
From MTV.com ""Lone Survivor" is the true-life story of four Navy SEALS trapped behind enemy lines in Taliban territory, completely outnumbered. The soldiers in question are played by a venerable collection of indie film badasses... and Mark Wahlberg. The group includes Kitsch, Wahlberg, Ben Foster, Emile Hirsh, and Eric Bana, and based on the title, it doesn't sound like all of them are making it out alive."

I'm new on this site and I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place-but I don't know where else on this board this kind of topic would go under. I'm sure many of us have seen Crosby and Marchand scrimmaging in Halifax. I hate to say it but I think they would make really great linemates. I feel like they read each other pretty well and have good reaction times. I hope we get video of them together for the Olympic Camp at the end of the month. What do you guys think?

They seem to like playing together and as much as i love Duper and Kuni they are both getting a bit older. Part of the reason Sid's camp is so great is that there wont be skating at the olympic camp so this is the perfect place for those players to work on chemistry. i may give us a leg up on some other teams.

I would imagine it would be really challenging to play on the same line as Sid. I know Duper and Kuni always talk about how he makes them better players and how it's easier with him, but they've been playing together so long that they've become accustomed to it. With Sid's skill level his linemates always have to be on edge, waiting for a no-look pass or any other incredible move Sid is sure to go. Seeing him work so well with Marchand, which I wouldn't imagine their playing styles mixing that well together, makes me wonder what Sid's line will look like in four years or so.

Is Marchand signed to bruins longterm?

Is Marchand signed to bruins longterm? Yes he is, Marchand's current deal is through the 2016-2017 season. Not sure if they would trade him though. He's cleaned up his act off the ice and his style fits in pretty well with the Bruins model. Although with their management I wouldn't be surprised if he left.

Is Marchand signed to bruins longterm? Marchand is contracted through to 2016-17, seems a timely free agent pickup for after Dupuis and Kunitz contracts expire. Sid has said that what he needs from his linemates is a level of predictability, he needs to know their moves and where they're going to be/go during a play. As for those "no-look" passes, they're usually a result of him checking his linemates position earlier in the play, they just have to stay put or go where they always go.

As a player i would think that once you've developed chemistry with someone like Sid it would be addictive and real incentive to move to play with him. It happened with Iggy but he wasnt the same player anymore and the coaching didnt help.

Iggy never really found a "home" in the lineup, Sid being out injured for the last month didn't help the coaches with how to work in any of the new players.

We don't want Marchand. He's a weasel and a dirty player. He belongs with the Bruins. That's their type.
