During lockout Malkin spoke to russian media about wanting to have kids with Oksana, and there were pictures of them on his Instagram, so if he still has that in mind I think they´re still together.

I think languages just aren't his strong suit. He grew up in Magnitogorsk, which was a closed city until the mid 80's. Closed city in Russia were cities where foreigners weren't allowed to enter, so I imagine that people growing up there have a culturally ingrained hesitation at embracing anything foreign. And while Geno might have conquered most of the aversion, his brain might be unconsciously resisting picking up languages because he grew up in such environment.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to post some new Geno info. Russian Elle did an article yesterday (05/27/14) that Darya Klishina was supporting Geno in Minsk at the World Championships and that they are back together. Geno also did an interview yesterday with SovSport where he said that he was looking for his "friends, girlfriend and family" when he was on the podium in Minsk. Elle just speculated about Darya.
Soviet Sport did an interview with him right after a game at worlds and he just briefly mentioned that he was looking for "his friend, girlfriend and all relatives" in the stands. Geno mentioned having gf twice in interviews (january and now, both sovsport I think) but never specified.

Nah, those guys are mostly sticking to the subject i.e. sport I read two interviews with him at Sovsport, beginning of the year and one mentioned above. In both interviews he mentiones gf, but in one in January he explicidly stated that his gf is not Klishina and sounded annoyed that after his visit to Universiada (sports competition she participated in 2013 in Russia) people started jumping to conclusions. He was not hiding Oksana if I recall correctly, so I see no reason to think he would be lying now. Buuuut... you never know for sure I think we'll see pictures this summer, he does not seem to be "goes-out-of-one's-way-hiding-gf" type :-) |

I loved Genya (RIP). She is employed! She's a sports journalist on Russian TV, and she went to college for psychology. Apparently she's very popular on TV and very private in her personal life. I like them together a lot. She's beautiful, and yea, that beach isn't bad either haha

I like Anna but this kind of made me disappointed (maybe that's not the exact right word). It's just that she talked about how Geno didn't really value her career but that it was really important to her and now she's given it up
There were lots of rumours this summer that they broke up because Geno wanted her to come to pittsburgh and basically gave her an ultimatum (it Russian tabloids are to be believed). I guess she made her choice and if it makes her happy than that's really all that matters. I just really wish she could have kept her career because it seemed really important to her and she worked really hard to get where she was.
